Hoping you can join us on a field trip to view the beautiful collection of artisan Alice Doll’s Russian-inspired Faberge’ decorated eggs. Alice has been doing this for years and will demonstrate how she makes these amazing pieces of art from egg shells of all sizes—ostrich and emu eggs shells down to a sparrow and goldfinch egg.  Alice is 94 years old and still teaching classes on how to create these beautiful hand-decorated eggs in her workshop in Sykesville, MD.  She is the artisan and has over 300 eggs on display.

Meet at TVIH Center at 10:15 AM to carpool to Sykesville for demonstration.   Demonstration and viewing of Alice Doll’s artistry at 11:00, followed by lunch at E. W. Beck’s Restaurant & Pub in Sykesville (about 5 minutes from the workshop at Alice Doll’s).  Here is a link to the restaurant website:  https://ewbecks.com.
