What is this?
This training is for active member and non-member volunteers who provide rides to our members.
The purpose of the training is to review how we help folks with mobility or visual impairments to get in and out of your cars, get up or down a step with a cane or walker, assist them through tight spaces, know what to do if they fall.
The emphasis is how to be helpful to our members without injuring yourself or them. and of course, we'll have snacks!
