All registrants must go through security. All visitors entering the legislative complex and their belongings must pass through a metal detector. Visitors also need to present a photo identification. Visitors should not bring large bags (e.g., backpacks) unless absolutely necessary. Temporary visitor badges are issued and must be worn at all times when visiting the legislative complex.

Registrations due by January 17, 2020.

Do you want to be a better citizen?  Come see a tour of the Maryland House in Annapolis and meet the Howard County District 12 delegation - Senator Clarence Lam, Delegate Eric Ebersole, Delegate Jessica Feldmark, and Delegate Terri Hill.  [Check out what district you live in and who your legislators are here.]  You’ll view an active session in the Senate. Tentative Schedule:

8:00                 Meet at the TVIH Center where we will form carpools.

8:15 – 9:10      Carpool to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, leaving promptly at 8:15

9:10 – 9:30      Shuttle from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to Lawyer’s Mall

9:30 – 9:55      Meet tour guide, pass security, tour some historic rooms of Maryland State House

9:55 – 10:00    Walk to Senate Gallery

10:00 - 10:25   Senate Gallery

10:25 – 10:30  Walk to Government House

10:30 - 11:00   Government House tour

11:00 – 11:30  Walk to Maryland State House, through tunnels to Miller Senate Office Building

11:30 - 11:45   Meet Howard County delegation

11:45 – 12:15  Walk to Shuttle stop,

Shuttle from Lawyer’s Mall to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium

12:15 – 12:30  Carpool to Severn Inn

12:30 – 2:00    Lunch

2:00 – 2:45      Carpool to the TVIH Center.


Parking: Park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Public parking lot entrance, Gate #5, Taylor Avenue. Parking costs $5 per car. Arrive by 9:05 to catch the 9:10 shuttle.  The State Shuttle runs Monday through Friday 6:30 AM - 8:00 PM at 20 minute intervals. Shuttle costs $1 if 60 or older ($2 if younger).

Alternate parking: The Maryland General Assembly’s Visitors Program Guide’s page 2 shows the location of other parking garages and free Annapolis Trolley Shuttle route to locations near the legislative complex.
