Whether you are a regular podcast-listener or don’t quite know what a podcast is, don’t miss this chance to sit back and listen to selections from a variety of podcasts that have been curated for the interests of the TVIH community. Using Zoom, you can listen to this program on your telephone, flip phone, smartphone, tablet, or computer.

A podcast is basically an internet-based set of radio shows that play when you choose. All your favorite NPR shows have them, TED Talks are well-known, and you have probably heard celebrities plug their own podcasts. You name it, it has a podcast.

The 45-minute program will present clips from three podcast episodes. Story-telling of personal experiences, science, history, and imaginative ideas will be emphasized. Sex, religion and politics will be avoided.

If you want to begin listening to podcasts on your own smartphone/tablet/computer, the last 15 minutes you may ask questions about how to get started. If you are already listening to them, you are sure to discover delightful shows you want to subscribe to. This session is a pilot for a series.
