This December Coffee is set up as a Hybrid; that is, some of you may wish to attend via Zoom, but others would like to meet in-person and actually share in coffee and refreshments.
About once every three months, we conduct a “Newcomers’ Get Acquainted Coffee” to welcome new members and provide information to them and to individuals who are considering joining The Village. We are offering a hybrid gathering for our December coffee. Our in-person gathering will be held at the TVIH Office, 6061 Stevens Forest Road, Columbia, MD 21045. A Zoom link will be provided upon registration whether you consider attending via Zoom or in-house.
It is requested you register no later than December 1, 2021. To help with determining those who would like to meet in-person, each registrant will be called between December 1 and December 6 to determine the registrant’s preference – Zoom or In-Person.
We’d love it if you could come.
The meeting at 10:30 am will include introductions of new members, prospective members, and members of our Membership Committee who are veterans of The Village. A 10-minute video, and an explanation of how to take advantage of the activities and services of The Village will be included. If you attend in-person, refreshments will be provided. The purpose is to say “Hello”, to help you get the most from The Village, and perhaps for us to find out what level of involvement you would like to have.
If you are attending via Zoom, the Zoom meeting room will open at 10:15 am. If you have never used Zoom before, please come early to check that your camera and speaker are working properly.
You will need a device (computer, iPad, or smart phone) equipped with a camera and speaker.
