Learn about the basics of new vehicle technology so that you are better prepared when the need for “new wheels” arrives. What is the difference between hybrid/electric cars and standard internal combustion cars (ICC)…in performance…costs…mileage…repairs? The pluses and minuses of buying used? What about charging… how long… home vs. public places… how many miles on a typical charge…what happens on a lengthy trip? Are regular repairs approximately the same price and frequency as typical cars? How many manufacturers are producing these vehicles? Overall advantages beyond environmental?

Our presenter, TVIH member Paul Verchinski, has been driving an electrical vehicle for 10 years, and follows the research to keep current. TVIH member Nancy Freeman will add her personal experiences of driving this type of vehicle for several years. Come with your questions!
