About this event
In the Fall of 2018 Ron and Claire Farris took a Celebrity cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to San Diego via the Panama Canal. In this talk they will give an overview of the cruise, focusing mainly on the Panama Canal transit. The talk will include a discussion of the history of the Panama isthmus, history of the canal construction, and its future. A few photo highlights of their favorite ports will be shown.
5:30 - 6:30 Potluck Dinner. Please bring a dish that will serve 6.
