About this event

This Georgian mansion was built in the 1760's by William Paca, one of Maryland's four Signers of the Declaration of Independence and the state's third Governor.  Carefully restored by Historic Annapolis beginning in 1965, today it is recognized as one of the finest 18th century homes in the country and a National Historic Landmark.  The garden includes native and heirloom plants, terraced formal Parterres, naturalistic wilderness, and a practical kitchen garden.

Following the tour we will enjoy lunch at the Iron Rooster Restaurant, (12 Market Place, 410-990-1600) a short walk from the Paca House.

Fee: $8 for a private group tour if we have 10 people, otherwise $10 senior / pay for your own lunch

Meet at 9:00am at the TVIH Center, 6061 Stevens Forest Road, Columbia, MD  21045 to carpool to Annapolis.  Nancy will collect money for the tour at that time.  Take 10:30am house tour, one hour, then leisurely tour the outside garden on our own.  Walk a short distance to the Iron Rooster restaurant for lunch at 12:15pm.   After lunch walk around shops or walk down to the harbor.  Leave for home by 2:30pm.
