The Women's Pod typically visits different places of interest monthly, alternating between outings and lunches. The Pod determines their optimum group size and activities with the goal of facilitating positive supportive relationships. Members receive event information and confirm participation directly to their coordinator, Froydis Beckerman.

Background Information:
Ms. Sherald did the paining of Michele Obama. The theme, American Sublime means the emotional power of Black American life, history and culture. The depth, beauty and resilience of Black Americans. The fee in advance for 65+ is $16 per person. Groups of 7 and more $14 per person. There is a restaurant on site, Gertrude's, should we decide to have lunch. Reservations can be made there in advance of visiting the exhibit.
Visitor hours start at 10 am. We'll meet at TVIH parking lot at 9:30am
