TODAY's DANCE: Village People's dance and line dances
Move your body to music.
Have fun.
Take it at your own pace.
Dancing is a whole-body workout that's actually fun. It's good for your heart, it makes you stronger, and it can help with balance and coordination.
A 30-minute dance class burns between 130 and 250 calories, about the same as jogging.
We will practice the Village People's dance s by watching a dance video and following the steps. Each session will start with a five minute stretch exercise to warm up the muscles.
Come to join your TVIH friends for this fun activity.
No prior experience is needed. Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. Bring a water bottle.
