Thursday Talk and Walk, Grist Mill Path in Patapsco Valley State Park, 1PM
About this event
Thursday Talk and Walk is a social gathering to a different place every Thursday
to introduce members to interesting places in Howard County and to create a
social vehicle to get to know each other better. We may go for coffee afterwards.
It is open to all and no registration is required. If the outdoor temperature is below
40 degrees or it is raining/snowing, we will meet in the Mall in Columbia on the
second level near Macy’s.
Thursday Talk and Walk for March 19 is on the Grist Mill Path in Patapsco Valley State Park. The entrance to the park is on US Route 1 in Elkridge. Take I 95 North to I 195 toward the Airport. Stay right and exit onto US Route 1 South. Take the first right onto South Street and an immediate left into Patapsco State Park. Follow the Park entrance road to the end at Gun Road and go right toward Glen Artney. Make a left right away onto Glen Artney Road and follow it to the Grist Mill Trailhead. There is parking. You will probably not have to pay the Park fee, as it is early in the season.
