“E2” is a play at REP Stage, a professional regional theatre, based at Howard Community College. The play is a contemporary reimagining of Christopher Marlowe’s tale of England’s ineffectual King Edward who alienates his queen and court when he elevates his “favourite” to the level of consort. You will witness the newly crowned monarch as he navigates a love affair that could be the downfall of his monarchy.  What is the price paid when the personal becomes political?
