This hands-on workshop is a follow-up to the “Going App Wild with an Apple iPhone” class, although you need not have attended that. You will practice common uses for many useful apps. These should be already on your phone: Google, Messages (Texting), Siri, Calendar, Clock, Facetime, Safari (Internet), Health, Podcasts, Music. These may not be: Waze, The Weather Channel, Flashlight Utilities, Find My iPhone, Amazon.
You need to take the time to install any desired apps you don’t already have before class, and establish an account if requested. If your phone has limited space, go to Settings>General>Iphone storage to review app sizes to decide on what you can remove to make more room. You need not install anything you do not wish to have.
Android users are welcome as they ordinarily can also load the same apps. However, Android specifics will not be presented. How to use Howard County library resources electronically will not be covered as this is taught by the library.
