About this event
Session One.
This is planned as a face-to-face live event to be held outdoors in the Sullivan’s yard. In case of inclement weather, will move inside with social distancing and open windows.
This Teach and Taste will present perhaps the tipping point that put the United States on a world map for wine. We will explore the 1976 Judgement of Paris results and how it impacted the US wine industry.
Then we will blind taste six wines, three from France and three from California. You will score each wine and learn if you prefer French wines, California wines or are split between the two areas.
This Discovery Teach & Taste will offer a new format, blind tasting. You will evaluate and score what is in your glass. There are no correct or wrong scores.
Because of the cost of the wines, full registration is needed. If fewer folks register, we will comparison taste wines from less expensive regions.
