Welcome Back! We are moving back to our home base on 6061 Stevens Forest Road on Tuesday, August 27. The Center will reopen for activities and meetings on Wednesday, August 28.
We are excited to be offering a series of 3 programs on the Subject of Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. These programs will be offered over a three-month period starting in April, and will be presented by Ellen Perticone (Ellen@PerticoneConsultants.com.), Outreach Consultant for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Maryland Chapter. The programs will cover the following topics: “Understandng Alzheimer’s and Dementia,” “10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s,” and “Healthy Living.” Each program will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience. You may attend 1, 2, or 3 programs, but please register separately.
Program 2: “10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s.” This program is designed for those who want to learn more about the warning signs of Alzheimer’s and other dementias, and those who have noticed memory or thinking changes in themselves or others. The program explores the most common warning signs of Alzheimer’s to help you be informed about what is normal aging and what is not.
