About this event
Dan has been in nearly one hundred countries and of course will only talk about some of them. He’ll include Afghanistan and Pakistan because he has been in and out of them for almost sixty years and still speaks the languages. He spent a significant part of his life in the Middle East, in both Israel and Cairo, and even more in West Africa.
Dan prefers an informal format. He’ll begin with some basic background about his past and then will let the discussion be guided both by the interests of the audience and his own interests in international development — his career — and the significance of languages.
