Get Ready for the Return of Backyard Socials!
Dust off your lawn chairs—one of our favorite traditions is back! We are thrilled to announce that the Backyard Socials are returning to The Village in Howard, starting Tuesday, April 28.
These monthly get-togethers are the perfect way to reconnect with longtime friends and welcome new faces into our fun-loving community. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming group; around here, no one stays a stranger for long!
New Times for a Growing Village
This year, we’re shaking things up to make it easier for everyone to join the fun. We especially want to reach out to our younger members and those coming straight from the office. To accommodate work schedules, we are extending our hours! Socials will now run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
What to Bring
As is our custom, these are potluck-style events. We invite you to bring a main dish, side, dessert, or refreshment—enough to share with about six people. BUT, if your day becomes too complicated—and we know they sometimes do—and you don’t have time to pick up something, please come anyway! There is ALWAYS enough food, and what we truly want is your company! Just remember to grab your lawn chair on your way out the door!
The Details
These are "rain or shine" events. If the clouds roll in, we simply move the party indoors. Have family or friends visiting from out of town? Bring them along! We’d love for them to meet our friendly (and remarkably good-looking) Village crew.
