About this event
Thursday Talk and Walk is a social gathering to a different place every Thursday
to introduce members to interesting places in Howard County and to create a
social vehicle to get to know each other better. We may go for coffee afterwards.
It is open to all and no registration is required. If the outdoor temperature is below
40 degrees or it is raining/snowing, we will meet in the Mall in Columbia on the
second level near Macy’s.
Thursday Talk and Walk for June 18 at 1:00 is at the Trolley Trail 1233 Oella Avenue just across the bridge from Old Ellicott City. Take Main Street (Frederick Road) across the bridge into Baltimore County and take the first left onto Oella Avenue. Just after the stone remnants of the Trolley Bridge is a parking lot on the right. We’ll meet there to go up the stairs to the Trolley Trail. We’ll walk about a mile up hill to the Breadery and have a cup of coffee before we return to the parking lot. It is also OK to drive to the Breadery (418 Oella Avenue) to meet us at about 1:30.
