Thursday May 28th
On Thursday, May 28th, we’ll meet at 9.45am at the Brandywine Museum of Art for a guided museum tour, studio tour, and lunch at the Milestone Café. Please note: Please select your lunch option at Brandywine Museum of Art from the booking page as an add-on.
Next, we’ll head to Chaddsford Winery for a 1.30pm wine tasting paired with small plates. Please note: Non-drinkers can explore the property without the wine pairings. Select the pricing option without wine tasting from the booking page.
Dinner will be at the Whip Tavern at 5pm – 6.15pm (dinner not included in the cost).
We’ll spend the night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kennett Square, PA. Breakfast is included at the hotel.
Friday May 29th
On Friday, May 29th, we’ll head to Longwood Gardens for a guided tour at 11am – 12.30pm. Plan on extensive walking at the gardens. After the tour, you can spend the afternoon exploring the grounds at Longwood Gardens. Lunch is on your own. There is a cafeteria and restaurant onsite at Longwood Gardens.
Note that Longwood Gardens has over 200 acres to explore. Longwood Gardens offers wheelchairs offers a limited number of complementary wheelchairs and electric scooters rentals. Availability is on a first come, first served basis.
We will drive to this event. We are looking for volunteers to help with carpooling. Julie will coordinate the carpool with those that register.

The cost of the trip is:
- $385 per person based on single occupancy with wine tasting (if you don’t plan to drink at Chaddsford Winery, select the without wine tasting option). Dinner of May 28th and lunch on May 29th not included.
- $275 per per based on double occupancy with wine tasting (if you don’t plan to drink at Chaddsford Winery, select the without wine tasting option). Dinner of May 28th and lunch on May 29th not included.
- Note—the fee is reduced if you have a Longwood Garden membership. Please let Danielle Peterson know if you have a Longwood Gardens membership when booking
