To celebrate Valentine’s Day in 2020 and in keeping with the TVIH TALK theme of “sharing personal experiences of members”, we will hear five members telling us when and where they met their wives for the first time. The speakers are Jim Arney, Claudia Friend, Inge Hyder, Thomas Benjamin, Jim Bouscaren and Kathy Rose.

They will bring their wedding photos to share.

Members from the audience are welcome to share their own valentine stories and wedding photos. Both singles and married members are welcome to attend this fun event.

Dick Krantz will play on guitar and sing love songs for us after the talks. Valentine’s cookies will be served.

This event is recommended by The Village People: Telling Our Stories, which will resume its regular schedule in March.

—————————————————————————

The Valentine’s Day programs in the past two years were popular. Everyone laughed and enjoyed the stories. The speakers told us where they met their wives: in a store, in a bar, at a job interview, at a football game, in a class for new employees, at a dance, carpooling during a long distance trip, and on a country road at night driving to a rock concert
