Like helping others?  Want to learn more about your device, yourself? Come to join the monthly technology meetings. Whether you just bought a new device or you have substantial professional experience, you are welcome to join.

The meetings will provide a classroom for our members to teach, learn and share our collective knowledge of PCs, Macs, tablets, smartphones and high tech devices.

Topics for this meeting:

Apple watch: How do people use the smartwatch?

Virtual resources at the HC library: How to find the listing of free classes on the library website? How to listen to 7 million songs on Freegal, watch 30,000 movies on Kanopy and read US and international newspapers (Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, New York Times) and magazines for free? How to find Rosetta Stone to learn 30 foreign languages? How to find ancestry.com to research genealogy?

The topics of discussion in the future meetings could include FaceTime, skype, zoom, Facebook, TV tech, new apps, virtual games, borrowing ebooks e-audiobooks, setting up Echo, uploading your videos to Youtube, and making a photo album on Shutterfly to share with friends.

Bring your questions. If Marlene, Fran, Paul, and Joy dont have the answers, they will research to find the answers before the next meeting.
