Planning for the future -Housing Choices for Aging

This session will explore the needs and resources available for aging in place housing in Howard County.

·          Only 59% believe they will be able to stay in their community due to cost and availability. Are home sharing, housing additions, and villages a partial answer ?

·         What are the gaps between supply and demand in Howard County?

·         What actions are needed to fill the gaps?

·         What are the merits and challenges of Erickson Limestone plan of 1200 independent and 200 assisted units with proposed pricing 20% above Charlestown?
